    Very disappointing. I asked for help with something and the lady looked very annoyed like I was wasting her time. I asked her questions and she was not helpful at all. I asked chatgpt for help and it was more helpful than her.

    I had a lovely experience at the Wonderland Sephora! I purchased a Charlotte Tilbury setting spray during the sephora sale and opened it today, just to realize there was a dead fly floating in the bottle. I went to the White Oaks location where I purchased it and they would not exchange it because it had been over 30 days, despite a dead fly being in the bottle as soon as it opened it. So I called the Wonderland store and they were extremely understanding and kind to my situation, and had no problem exchanging it for me! Thank you to the girl that helped me out :)

    I went into Sephora today only because I had a gift card. I have had one or two positive experiences at this location but more often than not I’m completely ignored or when I ask for help I’ve found the staff are often either indifferent or unhelpful. Today I approached a staff member saying I wanted to purchase two types of eye creams. The first being an SPF for around my eyes (my eyelids tend to be quite sensitive and get sunburnt a lot in the summer, applying regular sunscreen to them stings my eyes on days that are hot and I sweat). The employee said they do not carry any SPF products specifically for the eyes, only SPF for the entire face. I started to say that I had looked online (specifically at the Supergoop bright eye mineral SPF) but I was immediately cut off by her adamantly repeating “we do not carry any products for SPF around the eyes, only sunscreen for the entire face.” I thanked her and said I would take a look at Shoppers instead. I left feeling like an idiot thinking I had looked at the products incorrectly online (I’m not super experienced with makeup/skincare - hence why I went in person to ask some questions). When I got home and looked up the products again I found that Sephora in fact does carry these specific products I was looking for. I’m not expecting a Sephora employee to have every product memorized, but it could have been extremely easy to look up something in their system, walk around with me, or even ask another employee. This employee did not seem new or uncertain, she seemed VERY sure about what she was telling me, so I’m left to assume she just didn’t want to help me. I was ready and willing to purchase at least 2 products in store with her, all I needed was a simple recommendation. I will be using my gift card online and not returning to a Sephora if I can help it.
