- MKMichelle Kewell4 days ago2.0Was at the Sephora at the Georgian Mall this afternoon with my daughter, and my daughter made a purchase with her own money . The girl at check out was lovely, however, as we were on our way walking out of the store, we came upon a female staff member walking towards us. The aisle was a little crowded. She looked at my daughter and gestured for my daughter to move over and out of the way. Didn’t say a word, didn’t say excuse me, just pointed at my daughter to move over. I was behind my daughter and I told think the staff member realized an adult was with her. As a customer , I would expect better treatment in the store for my daughter. Disappointed.

While my friend and I were simply browsing perfumes, she kept hovering around us and watching us as if we were going to steal something. Her constant sneaking looks and the way she stared at us felt very judgmental and unwelcoming. Shopping should feel comfortable, but instead we felt judged and uneasy the entire time. On top of that, she gave us a really unpleasant look which made the situation even more awkward and disrespectful. I hope Sephora addresses this because customers should not feel profiled or uncomfortable when they are simply trying to shop. Hope she learns from it and improve better.
