She left, and we were told, once we were finally called for service, that she was not returning. We elected not to see a different stylist at that time. Today, we checked in online, with an 86 min. est. wait, went to the Vista Way location, and we were so pleased that Kelsey was there. When there were two people remaining ahead of us, she left. We thought she was taking lunch, and when called, we again said we'd like to wait for her. Imagine our surprise at being told, she had to leave "unexpectedly" again. Great Clips is lucky to have someone skilled enough to build a clientele that is willing to wait for that individual. From what I understood, she's the manager at that location? Too bad she or her staff aren't willing or capable of communicating. A hair cut from a trainee used to giving men a military buzz cut isn't worth an hour and a half wait. It seems like the manager just doesn't care enough to specify their availability, and the staff feels very comfortable lying. So, while it's unfortunate that my daughter and I couldn't get our haircut, at least we aren't continuing to support a business that doesn't prioritize their customers. Clearly that location is overwhelmed, and unable to sustain any lasting client relationship.

I do like the online registration with the wait times. I’ve been going to Great Clips for about 15 years. Before that a small traditional barber shop in Oceanside that had inexpensive haircuts ($10). But they changed hands and things got expensive.
