  From the moment I stepped foot into the door, I felt very welcomed. The lady who worked at the front (I didn’t catch her name), did a great job with helping me choose my jewelry and explaining the different pricing and metal options and was overall helpful with the business and registration aspect. My piercing stylist, Dani, was very kind in answering all my questions and helping me feel at ease. She even gave a mini history lesson. She was very thorough yet understanding about my nervousness. The piercing process itself was not as painful as I imagined it would be, especially for a cartilage piercing and it being my first time being pierced with a needle. I got a helix and a second lobe and I am very happy with their placement. I really appreciate the piercing stylist getting a second opinion due to the anatomy of my ear.

  I spent over $400 and have been attempting to get ahold of someone to clarify the type of piercings & how to remove them but can’t get through to anyone human.

  I went in there fearful. I had gotten a piercing at another establishment. I thought it was … well Google based- the worst. They fixed up my issue in so many ways. Exchanged my piercing. Maybe me feel so much better (than panic) and didn’t try to over sell me on anything…. Just help me! Appreciate their service.

  We specifically went to STUDS (Fashion Island) to get my 10 year old daughter's ear pierced (these were not her first) for her 10th birthday. (First - their prices were astronomical for something so simple...) When we walked up to the counter, we met what felt like the owner (tatted brunette woman). My wife walked in with my daughter, bubbly and friendly (excited for my daughter) and told her we were looking to get a double piercing that day. What again, felt like the owner, told us - in a rather smug and cold manner was "I don't do anyone under 13, sorry. Other people might, but I only do things the right way. Sorry" and coldly sort of sent us on our way. A) is there a law that prevents her from piercing kids ears? (if there is we are unaware), B) she made us feel like we were doing something inappropriate somehow and she wouldn't be complicit, and C) after sending us coldly on our way, she wasn't even kind enough to recommend another place in the mall that would do it. We walked out, disappointed, feeling shamed, but then quickly searched and found a CLAIRE's that was only a hundred feet away. We were in and out of Claire's quickly and inexpensively and no one suggested we were doing something inappropriate or not "the right way"... Claire's was also an absolute fraction of the price. Cheap, fast, no smugness, no ego... In fairness - maybe this person was having a bad day. But in reality - she handled this whole situation really poorly. We have no need to - but we would never go back or recommend STUDS for any reason.
