I always preferred a salon instead of home stylists, but most salons don’t do the best jobs with braids or weaves (if they do them). Came across this salon, and although I didn’t see a whole lot of reviews with braids, their work looked nice. Glad I went because they do a pretty good job. Decided to get faux locs for the first time and loved them. They came out a lot better than I was expecting and lasted a while. Easy to schedule an appointment, and the salon is really clean which are two things I appreciate. Prices are what you’d expect for a salon honestly. I’m not a fan of places that require a deposit, but the deposit isn’t much at all so I can live with it. Only thing I wish was better was my hair wash. That being said my scalp requires a bit more care, so I just wash my hair the day before my appointment to ensure it’s washed well at the appointment. Overall I recommend if you’re looking for a spot for braids or faux locs. Also, parking lot is tinyyyy. I make sure to schedule my appointments to where my boyfriend can drop me off and pick me up as for my last appointment there weren’t really any available spots! Or try for an early appointment like right when they open.
