  Went for the free facial by Prakti and got to meet her and buy other things as well. Parking is easier a block away for 2hrs.

  Lovely women at this location who are always kind and helpful, but the staff could do better at shade matching for deeper skin tones — as in, on the farthest end of the shade spectrum. I’ve been to other Credo locations where they were great at this, but this one (which happens to be closest to me) has consistently fallen short. Each time, the person helping me seems hesitant to really dive in and find my match, or they leave it up to me to figure it out. They’re generous with product access, which I appreciate, but it’d be nice to also get guidance from the people who actually work there. The experience could easily be 5 stars with that extra care.

  Staff can be hit or miss. This was the very first Credo I had been at in person, and I didn't even want to buy anything there. Some other customer walked in to use the recycling program, they made a big fuss about how they "don't do that" and will issue a credit as a "one time courtesy". Annoying, uncool. I was REALLY excited about all the indie brands, and asked some questions, the associates just shrugged and went "yeah I don't know anything about that shade". At home I went online to double check the eyeshadow I was looking at, and the lore I thought it had was correct. So I'm more educated about an indie brand I've never shopped with than Credo associates. Weird! Overall the demeanor and personal style of the staff didn't fit my expectations of the brand image that Credo or clean beauty has. Nothing personal, they're all cool girls, but it just felt disconnected from the experience I thought I would have. I think I'll try the Silverlake location instead.

  so disappointed with my experience today. I shop here on a weekly basis but as of today i will switch back to sephora and other retailers. I recently got an email that i was silver tier and had a birthday discount to redeem. It was also just my birthday so this added up. When i asked about it during my purchase, the staff was irritated by my request, gave a very confusing explanation of why they couldn’t give me my discount, and did not make any effort whatsoever to accommodate me and abide by the offer that THEY sent me. really unfortunate and i’ll never shop with Credo again.
