- KGKimberlyy Govan4 days ago5.0Just visited Sephora in Kohl’s on Carson street in Long Beach and the employee Cyriel who helped me out and she was amazing ! I came in not knowing the first thing about makeup and left feeling like a semi-pro with tips to pass on. She was not just informative; she was kind and patient in answering all of my questions and reassured me that none of them were silly nor made me feel uncomfortable for not knowing. The part that stood out the most to me was that , although there were other customers she was flexible in making me feel important as well as taking the time to acknowledge the other guest and let them know that they were important as well. As a healthcare worker this stood out to me the most as we all can get tunnel vision at times. Shout out to Cyriel for giving me a great experience & helping me with my pre-bridesmaid makeup adventure! -signed: a girl who now knows about makeup :)

Maybe should hire somebody better for customer service 09/12/25 don’t even want to give a one star and employee just stood there and talked about their business like no customer there .

She truly went above and beyond and was incredibly knowledgeable about every product we asked about—from skincare to makeup—and offered thoughtful recommendations that felt personalized and honest. She was attentive, kind, and made my mom (who was visiting from out of town) feel so welcomed and cared for. It’s rare to come across someone so genuinely helpful and passionate about what they do. Thank you for making our visit special—we’ll definitely be coming back because of her!

The woman then turned to the woman next to her, who by the way heard my question and asks her again if Sephora has a "Beach Wave" hair product in the store. Couldn't either one of them looked it up on the store computer? Sephora management, am i wrong? Do you have an inventory of items in stock at your locations? Can you look things up by keywords? Today is 3 June, it was about 2pm and I was at the Kohls on Carson.
