  My first time here the staff is very good and helpful accept when I’m check out the ladies was talking about me in front of me. She is not supposed to talk about the customers even I’m waiting for the receipt.

  I had to wait in a line for some time, and when I moved forward, the sales associate was apologizing to everyone for the wait, except me. I don’t expect an apology, but it was clear there was a difference in how I was treated, possibly because of my skin color. It’s disappointing, as most Sephora locations I’ve visited are always warm and welcoming. Unfortunately, this particular store in my neighborhood seems to treat people differently based on ethnicity or appearance. Such a shame to experience that in a place I usually enjoy shopping at.

  This was my last visit to this location. It’s the fourth time I’ve left feeling uncomfortable. I was followed around the entire time. I understand staff checking in, but being asked if I’m “doing okay” seven times makes it very clear they were suspicious of me, not offering genuine help. This happens every time I visit. Today, I spent nearly $1,000. I’m a shopping manager for multiple clients, and I frequently shop at high-end locations like South Coast Plaza, where managers are always courteous and respectful. The store’s picture policy also makes no sense. I wasn’t taking selfies or photographing people—I was simply sending a picture of a product to a client. The store was empty. Still, I was told “no pictures,” which felt unnecessary and rude. Unfortunately, I consistently feel discriminated against in this store. This was the final straw—I will not be returning.
