I had bought a hair mask that I hadn’t opened but when the cashier checked it, we saw it was all melted on one side—either because of how it was made or from heat. She called her manager and the manager went to the shelf, grabbed a new product and opened it to compare how much was inside. I thought that wasn’t right because now someone else is going to end up buying that opened product. The manager then told her it was fine to return mine. I also noticed that the staff only greet certain customers. If you’re Arabic or Hispanic, they usually don’t acknowledge you even though we’re often the ones who shop there the most. Personally, I don’t really care about being greeted but after visiting several times, it became clear that this seems to be the pattern.
