I had been growing my hair for 2.5 years and decided on my last day of the internship that I wanted to donate my hair for someone with cancer. I've done it three times before in my life and knew Great Clips supports that cause. I went to this facility and my hairstylist, Patricia, told me my ponytail was only "7.5 inches" and that my hair needed to be 12 inches to donate it and get a free haircut. I told her I thought it was 12 inches, but that I would take the ponytail with me and see if I could donate it elsewhere. Patricia charged me full price and refused to accept a coupon I had. When I flew back to my hometown in Chicago the next day, I measured my ponytail and was heartbroken to find that it was indeed 12 inches and that she lied to me. I called this facility over 5 times and spoke to two different managers. By the fifth time, the best they offered me was that someone in California could come and pick up $16, fully knowing that I was already back in Chicago and had no way of doing that. By the end of the haircut situation and me paying out of pocket to mail my ponytail to Pantene Beautiful Lengths, I lost a total of $23 for a haircut and great cause that should have only cost me a tip for the hairstylist. If I could rate this facility zero stars, I definitely would.
