My barber was Ava. She did a phenomenal job on my hair. I showed her a couple pictures of a hair style I wanted, and gave her some leeway to improvise on what she thinks would look best depending on the shape of my head and face. She didn’t stray too far away from the pictures I shared with her, and gave her own small touches with more of a mid fade than higher. It was actually a really nice decision, as I really loved the end results. I definitely found my new barber! If you want any clean fades, tapers, line ups, etc. Ava is the person to go to!! Thank you again, and excited to come back for my next appointment!
- AAAnonymousOct 13, 20251.0Definitely recommend going to get your haircut that this location (imperial beach) if you like… - to have your hair brushed so aggressively that your head yanks back with every tangle - when the stylist cuts off 1-2 inches more than the 2.5 inch trim you requested - when you’re charged more for the “haircut” price at the end because she cut more they 2.5 inch off which is no longer considered a “trim”

But when I got home and washed my hair then styled it, she gave me the most messed up cut. Blunt as heck, no blending, and it just makes zero sense what she did. It’s uneven beyond repair, I want to cry with how jacked up they left my hair. I have to not find ways to style my hair till this grows out which defeats the purpose of me even going in there. Can’t believe I spent money on this.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
