The customer service is bad. One of the female employee is very very rude. She stares at me like I’m going to take the items. I don’t need no tester items. She shout at another customer to close the bottom drawer when she could’ve ask nicely. The store opens whenever and closes whenever it wants to. Overall, I spent over $100, then she wants to be nice. I’ll go back because makeup price is cheap but if the rude employee is there I will not deal with her rudeness.

In this day and time, I truly feel people need to get over themselves, because some behaviors are completely unnecessary. I took my granddaughter on a mini holiday shopping spree, and what I experienced at this location was extremely unpleasant. From the moment we walked in, I felt less like a valued customer and more like someone being watched. The staff—I’ll call them “the help”—seemed more focused on making sure we didn’t take anything than actually assisting us. That is the feeling we got. I want to be very clear: this experience was specific to the Folsom outlet location. I visited the same company in Vacaville and had an absolutely amazing, five-star experience, so I know this is not a company-wide issue. At Folsom, the associate with the long red hair was incredibly rude. She refused to help us throughout the entire visit but still wanted to take credit for the sale. At one point, I simply asked if I could place my basket on the counter because it was getting heavy. She responded with, “Oh, that’s against our policy. We don’t allow that.” How is it against policy to set down a basket provided by your own store, filled with items I was planning to purchase? It felt dismissive and completely unnecessary. After being told “no” multiple times, I finally put the basket down, left the store, and drove all the way to Vacaville—because that’s where I received the kind of respectful, professional customer service every customer deserves. This company needs to seriously address what is happening at the Folsom outlet. Staff who treat customers this way should not be representing any brand. If this is the standard, the store might as well close its doors. I would never hire a team that treats customers like that.

I used to love shopping at this location; however, lately the customer service and morale has diminished and drifted away from its par. The associates are rude and short and sometimes appear to have little or no knowledge of their products especially the short elderly lady with the glasses. The "please no open" products protocols are strictly enforced which unnecessary for heaven sakes these products are soon to be expired or discontinued. The security guard following customers like a creep or stalker looking over my shoulders making me feel uncomfortable. Customers like to spend money where they feel welcomed. Unfortunately, I ended up purchasing some products as gifts; but this will be my last time at this location. The discount isnt even worth it if the sales associates behave like they hate their jobs and security guard only excitment is following women around. I rather spend my money at ulta or sephora and pay full price. I DON'T MIND PAYING FULL PRICE FOR MY BEAUTY PRODUCTS than to deal with poor customer service associates who needs to be fired or receive further training. If this company further hires people like the short elderly lady; might have well donate your products to Marshalls or TJ Maxx at least their customer service exceeds your customer service or simply dump your soon to expire products in the dumps. You won't have to spend employee cost.

Great products most half off. However the lady working there 10/21/25 seemed racist. I wasn’t the only customer who thought that. Rude and passive aggressive won’t be back but great products for sure.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting The Cosmetics Company Store, and I must say, my experience was exceptional. Initially, I entered the store with no specific intention to purchase, merely curious to explore the latest offerings. However, as soon as I stepped inside, I was captivated by the vibrant displays and the welcoming ambiance of the store. Veronica, one of the sales representatives, played a significant role in elevating my visit. She approached us with genuine enthusiasm and promptly informed us about an incredible sale currently running. Her knowledge of the products was impressive, and she patiently answered all of our questions. Whether it was about the ingredients, product benefits, or recommendations, Veronica provided us with thorough and thoughtful insights that truly enhanced our shopping experience. What stood out most was Veronica's warm and friendly demeanor. She made us feel valued and appreciated, which is often a rarity in retail. Her passion for cosmetics shone through, making the atmosphere even more enjoyable as we navigated through the various products. As we explored different items, Veronica continued to offer helpful suggestions without being pushy, allowing us to feel comfortable in our decision-making. Thanks to her guidance, we left the store with some fantastic goodies that we were excited to try out. Overall, my visit to The Cosmetics Company Store exceeded my expectations. The combination of a great sale, an array of quality products, and outstanding customer service from Veronica made for a memorable shopping experience. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking to indulge in some beauty products and enjoy a friendly, knowledgeable shopping atmosphere. I will definitely be returning in the future!
