  Highly disappointed. I scheduled a hair appointment a week in advance, only to receive a casual phone call the day before from a different stylist informing me that my appointment was canceled and that nothing could be done. Very unprofessional.

  I got a great first impression of JCPenny Salon in Downey, with my mom who was in desperate need of a haircut. Both the hair stylist, Naomi, and the salon manager were friendly and listened to what we needed. The salon manager helped me sign up for a rewards account for future hair cuts, and ensured that everything was wonderful. My mom loved her haircut, but even more she enjoyed the experience of being listened to while getting her hair done. I would gladly go back. Haircut came with both shampoo and blow dry.

  Ashley Salazar...my apologies for the way you felt about my service, I did my best in making you and your daughter feel as comfortable as possible with my service. My express haircuts are $35 which does not include a hair wash, I did not happen to just throw that in on the bill, I usually ask if a wash is ok or is desired with no extra charge(we only charge for a hair wash when a client comes in for only that). I do remember answering many questions you had about your daughter's curly hair and I tried to be as helpful as possible, it's too bad my service was not to your satisfaction. I hope you give me the opportunity to service you again with a complimentary wash & blowdry added to an xpress cut. Also, we do have 3 different stylist levels: designer stylist cuts at $22, senior stylist cuts at $27, or myself master stylist cut at $35. Thank you and hope to hear from you soon! - Angela

  My stylist was Latesha she was friendly great customer service she knew exactly what I wanted and did an excellent job. Thank you
