  asked an employee if they can help me pick out a shade for a concealer I’ve been eyeing for a while and got the most disappointing customer service. I understand it gets busy but there’s no need to be agitated with a customer who was just asking for help.

  I needed a good sunscreen and was looking for the Korean brands. The sales agent was very helpful and gave good information about the different products.

  Asked a staff member if a Josie maran sunscreen was available, and she gave me a very condescending tone and said that she not only did not know that the product existed, but that the store did not carry it and suggested I go to Beverly Hills instead. Before doing so, I went on the Sephora website and it said it was in stock at this location, and i had to go back, insist they check the back and lo and behold they had it. I understand mistakes can be made, but to not even validate a very valid question of stock availability is poor service. As someone who used to work at Sephora, when questions that you don’t know regarding products are brought up, there’s a certain level of due diligence that should be done before saying that it is not available. Have she done this, this whole encounter would have been avoided and I wouldn’t have had to made two trips when I do not have a vehicle and transport is difficult. Luckily there was one girl who helped me at my second visit and I appreciated her help.

  I had a terrible experience with Sephora employee, Kaitlyn, last night. She was rude, had a terrible attitude, talked over me while I was in mid-sentence, and turned her back on me to dismiss me when she was done. I've never had an experience like this at any other sephora, so I am extremely disappointed.

  This is my preferred store due to its proximity to my work and home, however, today it seemed as if the staff at the tills are not aware that they should be making money for their employer. After waiting in line for about 15mins the 2 staff members at one of the tills turned their backs to the customers waiting in line to pack some pouches, without saying anything word. The one other till that was opened was doing intense customer service with 1 customer. No one in these positions made eye contact with those of us in line. No apology for waiting...nothing. The guys and girls on the floor were helpful and polite. Maybe they should be checking the customers out. I was only going to spend about $75 for a travel perfume and a deodorant which I've never used but wanted to try. In the end I left without them. I'll go to another store where my time is not taken for granted. By the way, the staff @ the store in The Grove exemplifies good service.
