  I love coming in to try new products, but every time I visit this location I feel like I’m being watched as if I’m stealing. I’m simply an indecisive customer who enjoys testing products before buying, especially since I’ve been given the wrong shade before. Being stared at every time I enter the store makes the experience very uncomfortable and honestly discourages me from shopping here. I would really appreciate a more welcoming environment where customers can browse and try products without feeling like they’re under constant suspicion. Good customer service should make people feel comfortable enough to come back, not pushed away

  Oh my goodness Heather was sooo amazing during my trip here! It was my first time at this Sephora and I will definitely be returning. Heather was so patient and kind in helping me match my foundation, concealer, bronzer and blush! She went truly above and beyond. Heather you are amazing! 🫶😁

  During my recent visit to the Sephora location in Corona, CA, I experienced treatment from an employee named Teresita that I found to be discriminatory, unprofessional, and deeply troubling. After I politely stated that I did not require assistance, she proceeded to follow me around the store. Of all customers present, I was the only one singled out in this manner. When I later approached the register to retrieve an online order and purchase an additional item during the in-store promotion, Teresita addressed me with a condescending tone, visibly shook her head, and mockingly repeated my name. Her manner of speaking suggested an assumption of illiteracy or incompetence, which was both inappropriate and humiliating. Notably, I was the only Black customer in the store at the time, and there were no Black women working there. Meanwhile, a large group of non-Black teenagers behaved disruptively without receiving comparable scrutiny. As a Sephora Rouge member, my long-standing loyalty and consistent spending history reflect frequent patronage of this brand. This experience, however, represents a serious failure in equitable customer treatment. Being followed, singled out, and spoken to disrespectfully based on race raises concerns under applicable civil rights and consumer protection laws. Sephora’s stated commitment to inclusion was not reflected in this interaction. Unless addressed meaningfully, this incident will permanently affect my decision to shop with Sephora, as I will instead purchase exclusively through competitors or directly from brands. This review is submitted to formally document the incident should further action become necessary.
