I had a very nice relaxing experience at this Korean spa. Very friendly staff. Clean facilities. Not very quiet. At one point, super noise. Lots of chatter. Despite the quiet signs throughout. I think the acoustics of the room enhance the voices though. The pool area had 2 saunas and a small cold pool that can hold 6 people. They have 2 saunas there, one wet, one dry. The common area has a little snack shop and a restaurant with great Korean food. There's lounge chairs, couches and different dry saunas to choose from. Great place to relax and get away for a few hours. Definitely a place to check out if you're comfortable in your own skin. It is a nude friendly place after all. Not co-ed of course. Men and women have there own areas. Common area is co-ed and you will be provided a uniform to put on for that area.

I contacted Spa Hyu on their website, but no one got back to me. I called them instead to make an appointment on a Saturday night for full body scrub. It was $125 per person to be paid in full. It's kinda costly for a body scrub, but it also includes admission into the spa. I guess I could have gone way earlier than the appointment time to use the spa fully. They close at 11 PM, so I pretty much had to leave after the scrub. They told me not to go back into the baths when the scrub was done. My guess is because they covered me in some lotion or oil.
Another downside of going at night is the cafe and cafeteria close early. I couldn't get any food.
My scrubber was Maggie, and she spoke Mandarin. I always love a good scrub, but this price is holding me back from going back to Spa Hyu.
They have Dyson hair dryers! I like that they had a water fountain in the dressing area.
No complaints about my experience. I just wish I was able to spend more time in there!
-plenty of parking in their lot
-credit card accepted
-no phones in bath/lockers

Just went to this spa for the first time! I did not get any service on this visit, but everything was clean! Bummed that their spicy beef soup wasn’t available, but they compensated me well. Otherwise, the warm and hot tubs were working properly. The hot tub was amazing, that my body was steaming right after (safely) and I was satisfied with the temperatures at their co-ed/main rooms! I wish this was at the heart of LA, but I’d travel all the way here for a relaxing spa getaway. Hope to be back again!

I had a good time visiting this spa with a friend. I think the men’s hot pool, sauna, and steam room need to be much hotter. I felt pretty cold throughout the visit and it would have been nice to warm up in those places. I would also recommend bringing 1 or 2 of your own towels since you only get a few and they’ll get wet fast.

Had a great day here and I’ll definitely be back! Staff at the front desk were so sweet, facilities are super clean and my scrub + massage were amazing. The wet area with the different temperature baths was really lovely, done with a lot of natural wood and again so clean. Don’t stress about being naked if it’s your first time. Everyone is just doing their thing and it’s totally chill.
Cafe is a little pricey but my bibimbap was solid and came with a ton of different banchan so it was worth it.
Ambiance in the common areas is so nice, with a variety of seating options and heated floors. And overall, people are more observant of good spa etiquette here than in my past experience at some of the more touristy spas in Koreatown.
I was initially a bit nervous about having to be barefoot, but everything is so clean and there are bathroom slippers available when you enter to use the toilets.
Definitely making this my go-to spa!
