  This was my first time visiting this Sephora location. The store itself was very clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. One of the associates helped me color match my foundation and concealer, and they ended up being a perfect match, which I really appreciated. During the visit I also sampled a few lip gloss testers. Unfortunately, the next morning I woke up with a swollen lip and a blister that looks very similar to a cold sore/HSV-type blister. I obviously can’t say for certain where it came from, but the timing right after trying the lip testers was concerning. The staff were wonderful and I truly appreciated their help, but I did want to share this experience so the store can be extra mindful about tester sanitation for lip products. Hopefully this helps prevent anyone else from having a similar reaction.

  I came in here on a mission to get my family and my mother, a travel size perfume and a hair serum. I was helped by Danielle and she was very helpful and knowledgeable. She helped me find four perfumes all within the budget I was looking for and did such a great job with troubleshooting price to fit within my budget. The perfume smell wonderful and I was very excited to get a birthday gift as well with my purchase. I really like the Sephora. It is very clean.   I’m not sure if all are like this, but Sephora in Burlingame has really friendly and welcoming staff. Always super, super helpful. I particularly like their cleaner beauty brands. Also, pro tip, wait for the big 30% off sales!!

  My daughter & I were at Sephora around 3:40 this afternoon. We were trying out the lip stain wonderskin. While I was trying it out, the old sales lady who is white helped another lady that just came in who is white also and trying to also get the lip stain i'm trying out. Didn't even try to excuse herself and she didn't even help us coz we're asian?? And we went around the store coz they're hovering over us and we went back to see the color I tried, this old karen is looking at us like we're bothering them . I'm upset that Sephora hired this kind of employee . Hope the management can look at this matter.
