  I've had 5 or 6 massages now at the Now in Burlingame with Mickey and I highly recommend him as a massage therapist. I really like his technique and leave feeling so much better, every single time. Mickey does not phone it in. He really puts a lot of energy into his massages and it makes a big difference. I also really appreciate that he asks if I have any special areas for him to focus on AND really listens and customizes the massage to help me. One thing though, don't everyone book up all his spots so that I can't get in!

  Last year I booked a 50-minute stretch massage at The NOW in Burlingame and saw Deja. It was such an incredible experience that I genuinely looked forward to coming back. Unfortunately, Deja no longer works there, so I decided to take a chance and booked with Nicole. I just spent $160 on what felt like a glorified back massage. While she did a solid job on my upper back, the rest of the session felt rushed and minimal. My arms and legs were briefly rubbed, but very little time was actually spent working on each limb. Additionally, for some of the session she kept the sheet between her hands and my body. Being massaged through a sheet was far from ideal and not what I expect when paying for a full-body service. I also want to add that while I have empathy for anyone who may be feeling under the weather, she was coughing and clearing her throat frequently throughout the session, which felt very unsettling and took away from the ability to relax. I paid for a full-body massage and did not feel that’s what I received. Overall, this was a mediocre experience that unfortunately did not make me want to return.

  I had an absolute fabulous time with my siblings! The staff was as professional as the environment was serene and conducive for a mental getaway. I loved it and will be back very soon!!!

  Tonight I had a frustrating experience with a massage therapist. I physically feel much worse than when I arrived. Although, I booked a swedish massage, and requested soft, slow pressure, due to a health condition that can cause my muscles to seize if there is too much pressure. The therapist expressed she understood and agreed, but I needed to remind her repeatedly to slow down and soften pressure. When I turned over she insisted that I need more pressure to release my neck muscles, she asked why did I come if I did not want pressure. I gave in and now I am in great pain. The whole experience is very frustrating, and I resent that I am automatically charged.

  I absolutely enjoyed my experience with this location. Hunter at the front desk was so sweet and helpful. His demeanor Definitely matches the environment. Sue was the Masseuse with the magic touch. I came in miserable with neck pain and discomfort and left so happy because I was 80% better! I took some Alive before going in and I’m sure that helped me some but the Pharmacist had mentioned That over-the-counter medication wasn’t gonna really help much. I was worried going in because of the pain but Sue was checking in on me the entire time and I never felt discomfort, on the contrary, I felt relieved and relaxed. Thank you for such great service -Tracy
