  I recently visited the Sephora store at the Brea Mall in California, and I wanted to recognize two employees who made my experience exceptional. Adam provided outstanding customer service—truly A+. He was incredibly patient, attentive, and knowledgeable, especially considering that many products were limited. He still took the time to walk me through several beauty and makeup options and made sure I found what I needed & more . Naomi was equally wonderful. She was kind, approachable, and very knowledgeable about fragrances. She showed me a wide variety of perfumes, explained them in detail, and gave thoughtful recommendations that I really appreciated. Both Adam and Naomi went above and beyond to make my visit enjoyable. Their professionalism and friendliness made a lasting impression, and I’m very grateful for their help.

  The first nice lady that assisted me with my inquires was very helpful and patient. However the lady at the cash register was rude, didn’t smile, and made me feel so uncomfortable. From the numerous times I’ve been to Sephora in Brea Mall, I have never left so disturbed, shocked, and disappointed.

  Andrea is such an insightful, intelligent and kind associate. I have been struggling with my skin and finding makeup products that work for ages. When I spoke to Andrea about my skin type and what I was looking for, it was easy to tell she was attentively listening and thinking of the best possible solutions for me, which she did provide! She truly knows what she's talking about and I am so grateful to have gotten her help when deciding what products to purchase. I am going to come back to this Sephora just for her expertise when I need products in the future! I truly hope Sephora appreciates her as much as I do, she's wonderful!

  Went in for one item, never again. I was looking for an item that appeared to be sold out and asked an associate who was previously conversing with another employee. Initially, she seemed willing to help, but as more minutes went on of standing around, I began to realize that I wasn’t her priority. Her conversations with the employees is. The employees at this location seem to be more absorbed in their conversations amongst each other than helping the guests, even during their busier foot traffic times. I can understand when you talk to your coworkers from time to time, but when it’s extremely busy and even your supervisor (or what I assume, considering how everyone’s demeanor changed when they appeared) has to go up to me after waiting nearly 15 minutes after you have said that “you will let me know” is upsetting. I’m so glad they came up to me as I was able to find out that the associates in the back weren’t able to find the item minutes ago and that original associate who failed to help me just didn’t care to tell me the information. There’s another person who’s talked about that same associate in their review. The employee with the blonde highlights. I feel as if this should be a sign to focus on what their work ethic truly is. I was happy with their extensive inventory and the small number of actual good employees, but even if this is the closest Sephora I live near, I would rather take the time to drive to another location. It would be worth it.
