History is rich and creamy like the product offerings. A young 23-year-old Olivier Baussan utilized a unique process to extract oil from wild rosemary and lavender, which he sold to his native citizens in Provence. L'Occitane got its name from ladies of Occitania. Since 1976 the product line of skin, bath and hair products made from fresh natural ingredients continues to delight.
