  I was in line with two other people ahead of me, it took 15 minutes for the one person on the till to complete the sale, and another 12 minutes to ring in one item for the person ahead of me. I counted 7 employees in the store talking to each other, one was the phone staring at me behind the counter, three went into the back while I waited with the one till open. Had my item not been a gift, I would've walked out. But I waited. And waited. When it was my turn, she asked for my phone number and I said no, just ring me in. This was met with the most exaggerated eye roll I have ever seen. Slammed my item down, then said "Let me guess, you want a bag for this, right?" No, I will carry it in my hat thank you very much. Last time Im ever shopping there.

  I booked a makeup appointment at Sephora well in advance for my convocation, expecting everything to be arranged for such an important day. Unfortunately, just one hour before my appointment, I received a call informing me that the makeup artist was unwell and that my appointment had to be cancelled. While I understand that emergencies happen, cancelling at the last minute left me with no time to find an alternative. I contacted several other makeup artists, but since it was such short notice, everyone was already fully booked. This caused a lot of stress and disappointment on a day that was very important to me. I would recommend that anyone booking a makeup appointment at Sephora have a backup plan, especially for major events. My convocation day was negatively affected because of this last-minute cancellation.

  I booked a makeup appointment about a month in advance for my special day. Unfortunately, I was informed only one hour before my event that my appointment had been cancelled because the makeup artist was unavailable. I am very disappointed with the service. Since the appointment was booked well in advance, I expected they to arrange another staff member instead of cancelling at the last minute. This caused unnecessary stress on an important day. Poor customer service and lack of professionalism. I would not recommend relying on them for important events.

  Here’s a nice, polished Google review you can post: I had an amazing experience at Sephora thanks to Raven D. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and professional. I explained my skin concerns and how some previous products made my skin dry and patchy, and she really took the time to understand everything. Raven suggested a session where she tried different products on my skin, and the results were amazing—everything matched my skin perfectly. I truly appreciated how she guided me without any pressure to buy and even provided samples so I could try them first. Her behavior, communication, and customer service were outstanding. She made me feel comfortable and confident in my choices. Highly recommend asking for Raven if you visit!

  I made the mistake of coming in with little sleep during shift swift. I had help looking at The Ordinary products and grabbed 2 items as well as 3 cosmetic items. At check out, I somehow only left with 4 of the 5 items and got double charged for the most expensive item, while the cheapest one did not get scanned. I thought the total seemed pretty steep before I left, but shrugged it off until I left town and went over everything. Maybe I wasn't the only one sleep deprived, but still annoyed at paying extra.
