  I had a very disappointing experience with Lush. The products on the shelves were already over 3 months past their manufacturing date, even though they have a shelf life of only 14 months. Customers expect fresh products, especially when freshness is such a big part of the brand’s marketing. What made this even more disappointing is that I am a loyal customer and spend a lot of money at Lush. Everyone in my household uses their hair care products, so we shop there regularly. Despite that, I spent over 30 minutes trying to resolve an issue with a sealed product, but they refused to stand behind it. I have attached pictures of products that I use but they don’t care 😥 The customer service on their main phone line was not helpful and the staff in the store were just as unhelpful and dismissive. I felt like my concerns were not taken seriously at all. I feel misled as a customer. If Lush promotes fresh, handmade products with a relatively short shelf life, 14 months they should ensure their stores are stocked with much fresher inventory instead of selling products that have already used up a significant portion of their lifespan. Overall, this was a frustrating experience, and I expected much better customer service and product quality from a company I have supported for years.

  As a mom, there's very few moments I get to enjoy shopping. The other day I came into this store with my son and two staff members were SO lovely and showing him around the store and letting him try some items. Meanwhile I was able to do a super fun fragrance reading with Monica who helped me find my new favorite scent. It was such a fun time for me and my four year old, the staff here are amazing and me and my son were talking about it the rest of the night. Thank you!

  I didn’t catch her name but the young girl with brown hair, curtain bangs, and black glasses has stellar customer service. She was so friendly and kind. My boyfriend and I were being followed around the mall by a man who then approached us while we were inside Lush speaking with this employee. She kept calm, guided us away from the man who had begun to act erratically, ensured she would call for security if he approached us again, and we did end up buying a bath bomb despite only going in there to try and escape a creep. The next time we went in to buy some body dust, she welcomed an older woman with her husband to the store and asked if there was anything in particular they might be looking for. The woman acted confused and got cross with her right off the bat, asking “are you okay?” with a tone that sounded like she was making fun of the employee for asking if they needed help finding anything. It was super rude. It was uncomfortable to witness knowing this girl was just trying to do her job, but she handled that woman’s nasty behaviour with grace and remained polite. It was impressive. I had to write a review and give my kudos ♥️

  I went to this location not really knowing what to look for; I was shopping for a gift for someone with specific tastes. Star was, well, a superstar! They helped me with different options, offering advice and asking questions to help me figure out my purchase. The gift was a big hit, so thank you Star! You're amazing!

  Experience left me uncomfortable. The employee wearing a mask with several keychains on their lanyard was very kind and helpful. They gave me space to shop, which I appreciated since Lush stores can sometimes feel overwhelming. They also set aside a Super Milk leave-in conditioner for me at the cash desk, which was specifically what I came in for. However, while I was shopping, another employee wearing glasses began speaking negatively about Super Milk to the employee in the mask off to the side. She repeatedly commented about how much she disliked the product, said it was something “only 11-year-olds buy,” and continued criticizing the scent and product loudly enough that I could clearly hear the conversation as the only customer in the store. Regardless of whether the comments were intended for me, hearing staff openly criticize a product I was actively purchasing made the environment feel uncomfortable and unwelcoming. As a result, I decided not to purchase the additional items I had been considering and checked out quickly so I could leave. The same employee then interrupted the conversation I was having with the associate helping me in order to promote an additional item, which added to the awkwardness of the interaction. I understand that employees will have personal opinions about products, but in a customer-facing environment it’s important to be mindful of how those conversations can affect customers nearby. While the interaction may not have been intentional, it negatively impacted my experience in the store.
