I came to this Sephora location as a DoorDash driver. Usually, it's hard for us to find items in these stores and we rarely get help. However, the staff here are generally very kind and helpful! Especially Sonia—she was incredibly amazing. She found every single product for me one by one so quickly and helped me finish my order in no time with a huge smile. Big thanks to Sonia and the whole team for their great attitude! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

So glad we finally have a Sephora here at Brentwood! It is such a nice, convenient location and it saves you from having to travel to the massive, crowded malls just to grab your skincare or makeup essentials. The store itself is really well organized, clean, and easy to navigate. The staff is always super friendly and helpful whenever you need to find a specific shade or product. They keep everything well-stocked and you can easily grab all your usual beauty insider deals and rewards points at checkout. Having it right inside this mall setup is amazing and makes shopping so much easier. Definitely my new go-to Sephora spot!

I had a great experience at Sephora Brentwood. The store is in a convenient location, and the service was excellent. Summer was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. She seemed genuinely passionate about her job and was excited to help customers, which made the experience even better. Overall, great customer service and a pleasant shopping experience.

i went into this sephora a few months ago to pick up some gifts and it was a terrible experience. i received an email from sephora stating that all full sized fragrances including hair and body mist larger than 1 oz were 20% off. when i found the product i wanted to purchase there was a sign right in front of the product stating 20% off. i wanted to double check with a staff member that the product i picked up was included and she told me yes it was, as it was 3oz and any products larger than 1oz was included in the promotion. i continued to shop around the store and asked a different employee ( a blonde girl) about a deodorant as there was a 30% off sign in front of it, but she informed me that it was for the holiday gift set next to it that was on promotion, which i thanked her for her clarification. when i went to the cashier to checkout with my 2 items (one being the 3oz fragrance mist) the discount of 20% was not applied. i politely asked the cashier why it wasn’t applied as the other employee informed me that the product was in fact included in the promotion. she then told me that it wasn’t included because it was not the jumbo size. i told her that a fellow sephora worker that i had spoken to told me that it was included. just then the blonde employee chimes in and goes “no no i did not say that, i said it was the holiday set not that one”. it was extremely, rude as she was not involved in our interaction and felt the need to jump in when i was not talking about her, and instead talking about a different employee i had spoken to prior to her. i had not asked the blonde employee about the fragrance at all yet she wanted to jump in. i told the cashier that there was a sign right in front of the product and she immediately shut me down and told me that the signs are all over the store and spoke in a tone that was belittling me. i felt very dismissed and no longer wanted to make my purchase as the staff was rude and condescending. they didn’t make an effort to inform me as to why the product would not be included in the promotion, instead just shut me down saying it was not included with no explanation. when i simply asked why she insisted it was only the jumbo size but didn’t show me the jumbo size in case i wanted to make the switch over to the larger size. when i left the store i checked online if i would be able to get the discount on the product i had attempted to purchase. when i added the exact same product to my cart the discount was applied no problem. i went back into sephora to inform the blonde employee who felt the need to chime in at my checkout experience that when doing my transaction online the discount was applied instantly at checkout by simply adding the code. i politely told her “just to let you know when you do the transaction online it lets you add the discount to this product in this size”. she sarcastically said, “okay thank you, thank you sweetie” and brushed me off to the side. it was clear that she was embarrassed by her mistake and couldn’t accept the fact that she was wrong, so instead of apologizing for the encounter she shut me down a second time. no clarification, no apology, just a push over to the side that she was done with the matter. I usually like this sephora location, and the first employee who helped me was lovely, but this experience was very disappointing.

Very rude employee!
I have been disappointed by the customer service at this Sephora location on multiple occasions.
The staff seem to lack sufficient knowledge about the beauty and skincare products they are selling. For example, when I asked for recommendations for pore-minimizing products, a staff member appeared unfamiliar with the concept itself. On another visit, I asked for a hair serum that could be used after heat styling, and I was told that no such products existed. As someone who has already done extensive research, I was looking for professional advice and product recommendations, but unfortunately the staff were unable to provide helpful guidance.
This makes me question how employee product knowledge and qualifications are evaluated and maintained at this store.
In addition to the lack of expertise, I found the customer service to be unfriendly and dismissive. During a recent purchase of approximately $150, I had an offer in the Sephora app for complimentary mini products. When I asked about redeeming the offer, I was told, quite rudely, that they did not have any available in the store. Unfortunately, this was not the first time I have experienced this issue at this location. It often seems that eligible customers are unable to receive the samples or mini products advertised through Sephora promotions. While I understand that inventory can sometimes be limited, the lack of availability combined with the dismissive attitude from staff made the experience very frustrating.
Had I known I would receive neither knowledgeable assistance nor the promotional offer, I would have simply placed my order online. Overall, my experiences at this location have been frustrating due to the lack of product knowledge, poor customer service, and unprofessional attitude toward customers.
