The worst customer service ever, no matter who is working they are the most unfriendly and unwelcoming staff. They all seem like they hate their jobs. The other day the door was locked because an employee went and got a burrito and there was a line outside waiting to get in and when she finally came back and let us in she said I cannot ring you out for another 10 mins I am on my break. So very uncomfortable even going to this store, I now drive down to Roseville as they are so helpful with great customer service.

I could not be more shocked and upset as I have had the worst experience I’ve ever had at any salon supply store, in my life. Went into return an item at the Auburn, CA store I had purchased online, and when I was at the counter, the woman that was working, Sierra, said she didn’t know how to return it, and it would just be better if I came back when their sale promotion on the item was over because she could not change the price of the item. I live a half an hour away so an hour drive time for me to just come back for her convenience. She was not friendly, but had an attitude during our entire encounter that was unpleasant and at best tapping her nails on the counter. After I told her that I was there and I would like it to be done now she made a phone call to what I assume is the store manager as I stood there for 15 to 20 minutes waiting for her to get a response. Well again, she sat there, tapping her nails at the counter with a very unfriendly, put out attitude. During her conversation, the woman on the other end, I believe told her to also told her that I should just come back when the promotion was over. Are you serious?!? So I drove an hour to have not only a store clerk, but the store manager tell me to just come back to return my item when God knows whenever their promotion is over and it’s past the time I can even return it? She went through a couple things with her and she was finally able to return it. I told her I appreciated that she did that for me but that I thought it was very unprofessional that her and her store manager to suggest I just come back at a later date to return it. This is some of the most unprofessional behavior I’ve ever seen at any store ever! Bottom line is it will be a long time till I purchase anything from SalonCentric again. Some thing I’d also like to mention is I just started coming here a couple months ago, and every time I have come in they never have anything you need. Every time I found a hair color that I liked and there were a few, they didn’t have it in stock. So whoever is the store manager is not only unprofessional when they’re dealing with returning items, but stocking items as well.
