Every time I go in to test shades or get help choosing products, the staff is friendly and always willing to help. However, when it comes to getting your makeup done and making an appointment, I have now experienced two unfortunate incidents. The first was for my graduation. They only had one makeup artist working because someone had called out. She did her best, but she was the only one there managing the whole station. She was only able to complete half my face before I had to leave because it was taking too long and I needed to make it to my ceremony on time. The second time happened for Halloween. I booked an appointment knowing it is one of the busiest times of the year, but they called me the morning of my appointment to cancel. Again, they only had one makeup artist and a manager working. It was very disappointing because I had no time to make other plans or find another place to go. They did not offer any compensation or recommendations for another option, they just canceled and left me to figure it out on my own. I really love MAC and their products, but I think they need to schedule more artists, especially during busy times and special events. It is very frustrating to plan ahead and book an appointment only to have it canceled last minute.
