  While I was in college, I worked for Sephora for a few years, and absolutely loved it. I haven't been inside of a store in AGES, but I had two credit/redemption cards from trial kits that I needed to exchange for products, so I stopped in the Antioch location today, and had the absolute pleasure of being helped by the incredible Aiofe. She noticed me kind of gazing overwhelmed trying to locate the right brands, and told me she'd be right back to assist once she dropped an item off at Cash Wrap. She went above and beyond to help me find items that my (quite old) redemption certificates would cover, and was so kind, patient and sweet, that I would honestly come back just to get her opinion on new products/trends and shop based on her suggestions. Truly the epitome of what all Sephora cast members should strive to be.

  The staff were super helpful and so nice! The only reason I don’t give 5 stars was because they were out of multiple items that I specifically came for. I still ended up spending a lot of money though lol

  Sephora in Brentwood/Antioch. I just had a unique experience with customer service at this specific store. Last week I went to buy an Estée Lauder concealer and they recommended a shade of concealer and other products, and I decided to go for it. So far, so good. Upon using it for the first time, I noticed the concealer was too white for my skin tone, so I decided to go in today to exchange it. I only asked for a shade exchange, not a refund. The person at the register told me to bring the product I had and find someone who could help me choose the right concealer for my skin tone. I approached an employee and asked if she could help me, to which she said yes, she would be there to help me. I stood in front of the concealers for about 20 minutes or more waiting for her; she never came over to tell me she couldn't help me, she just left me standing there staring from a distance, not caring. I decided to go with the color that seemed to flatter me. I went to the checkout and when she asked if I'd found what I was looking for and if anyone had helped me, of course, I told her what had happened, but it was like saying nothing. She simply apologized (out of obligation), but didn't offer to look for anyone; she just argued that everyone was very busy! Excuse me? It was a Tuesday at 11 a.m., there were 3 or 4 customers (not everyone asks for help), and about 4 or maybe 5 employees. Honestly, the lack of empathy and respect was brilliant. I didn't ask for anything difficult to resolve, just a touch of concealer so I wouldn't have to keep returning the product. Terrible customer service. I just hope this shade works; I have no desire to go back to that SEPHORA.

  7:15pm Thursday May 2, 2024 went in because was very excited to purchase the new Charlotte Tilbury fragrance discovery set which said it was in stock for pick up within an hour. But since it was near closing I decided to just go in and purchase it. I asked the employee (who wore glasses) (there were only 2 people there) if they had it and she said no. I’m not even going to place the order which I’m sure will be processed for pickup if I do because I’m going to give a different store my business instead. Maybe they should do training with Veranda Concord Sephora or Dublin Sephora both of which I’ve had great customer service with. This employee didn’t offer any other way for me to get it which only goes to show further that she was just being lazy to go in the back and bring some out. They even had the huge new Charlotte Tilbury fragrance posters hanging at the windows. What is that for? Excitement for something that an employee doesn’t want to even sell?

  I made an appointment for eyebrow waxing. Arica was very sweet, gentle and asked a lot of questions about my expectations and outcome. Explained each step. I was happy with the result and scheduled my next appointment already.
