  Sephora allows pets inside. Not keen at all about having a dog or such shed hair and skin inside a makeup store that has open products for people to experiment. Terrible health decision. Kingsway mall does not allow non-service animals so the owners should know better and the staff.

  I went there looking for a certain perfume. I couldn’t find it anywhere so I asked this employee if they had it in the under cabinets that they keep the products in. She didn’t look then was like I’ll go ask somebody if we have it. I followed her to the front and she didn’t talk to anybody and then proceeded to go on her phone for 10 minutes while I watched her. Literally the most useless Sephora to go to. Also the place is always so dirty too. Some of the employees there are super rude.

  Today, my 13-year-old daughter went to this Sephora location to buy something she had been looking forward to using a $50 gift card she received for her birthday. She loves Sephora, so this was supposed to be a fun shopping experience. When she got to the checkout, her total came to about $50.45. She paid with her $50 gift card and was only short by around 45 cents. She tried to pay the remaining balance with cash, but she was told that the balance could only be paid by credit card. She’s 13 years old. Of course she doesn’t have a credit card. And realistically, how many people would use a credit card to pay less than a dollar? What makes this even more confusing is that the customer ahead of her had to pay for a shopping bag separately and was allowed to pay with cash. My daughter told me the cashier was in training, but it was the trainer who insisted that only a credit card could be used for the remaining balance. Rather than arguing over 45 cents, her grandmother, who was with her, paid the balance with her credit card. I only found out what happened after my daughter got home, and I was honestly shocked and disappointed. This store was already messy and disorganized, but the inconsistent policies and poor customer service made the experience even worse. My daughter won’t be returning to this location, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a pleasant shopping experience.

  I’m confused. Is this not a Sephora store? The Sephora stores I know are fun and full of customer experiences, staff that are pleased to help, that make eye contact and always say hello. They want to help you shade match, or recommend a serum. I wandered the nearly empty store looking for a specific foundation. There was so much staff all doing nothing. I was not greeted. I was avoided. No one made eye contact. Even though it was obvious I was looking for something, not a single associate spoke to me. They grouped together, chatting amongst themselves. One was pacing around the cash line, avoiding eye contact at all costs. When the customer in front of me in the line was asked “who helped you today?” She replied “no one”. Same, sister. Same.
