  EVERY SINGLE TIME I visit this store, there seems to be an interaction that stays with me, and today was no different. I came into the store looking for a Bobbi Brown eyeliner because I wanted to try it in person before purchasing it online. I couldn’t find Bobbi Brown, so I asked an employee where it was. She didn’t know either, so she asked her colleague. I was standing only a few steps away from them while they spoke, and her colleague pointed toward the checkout section. I was waiting for the employee I had spoken to to come back and tell me whether Bobbi Brown was located there, whether they were out of stock, or whether they simply didn’t carry the product. Instead, she just walked away without looking at me, acknowledging me, or saying anything at all. I hate having to point these things out, and I’m not someone who leaves rude comments about every unpleasant customer-service interaction. But this was not a normal interaction. Being completely ignored after asking a simple question felt incredibly dismissive and degrading. At this point, I genuinely feel that the way I’m treated in this store has something to do with being Indian. I’m tired of having experiences like this and then feeling like I’m supposed to pretend they didn’t happen. I shouldn’t have to wonder whether I’m being treated differently because of my race when I’m simply trying to shop.

  The lady from Mac cosmetics did a wonderful job matching my shade. Initially when I went in I knew my shade match but didn’t mention it I wanted to see if there’ll be something better. The first shade she picked was my exact match which I’ve been using for years. My point is she’s well experienced.

  Very disappointed with the customer service I received at Sephora edmonton. Marta was extremely rude to me and ignored me when I needed help. Her attitude made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome in the store. I normally enjoy shopping at Sephora, but this experience was upsetting. Customers should be treated with basic kindness and respect. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the situation. Now, i prefer to visit sephora in reddeer from next time those are so nice.
