  I visited yesterday with my siblings looking for a hair perfume and for the first little while we didn't get greeted (which is okay!!! it was busy and we totally didn't have any expectations) but I was still able to browse on my own with no problem. An associate approached us asking us one by one if we were signed up for their loyalty program, which my sister and I were. She turned to my teenage brother and asked him, he said no and mentioned that he wasn't interested as Sephora isn't a place he would shop at. She was extremely persistent and kept repeating herself saying "are you sure" and "I can sign you up for free samples", even after being told "no thanks, I'm okay" at least 5 times. I assume that signing up new members is a new KPI considering that employee was persistent, but her body language made us feel cornered and that she wasn't giving us a choice which made the experience uncomfortable and the interaction felt quite rude. Even after I had spoken up for my brother by saying "he's not interested, let's go" she still continued repeating herself, the same 2 lines over and over. In the middle of her rambling to us, she spoke into her mic saying "Yup, I'm checking on them right now" which made us feel like we were being watched for shoplifting and that interaction was a way to push us out. Shortly after, clearly frustrated, I pulled my siblings away from her and we made one last stop to try a scent quickly and left without making a purchase. Normally, I love shopping at this location because of how quiet and hands on the employees are, but I won't be returning to a location where the employees don't respect the shopper's boundaries.

  I was looking for good coverage for my dark spots and Gigi helped me find the perfect product. She is absolutely amazing and has very good knowledge of the products. Sephora is lucky to have her. After a long time I found someone who understands my concerns. Thank you Gigi!
