  I've been going to Curious Salons for a while now and think I can give a solid review based on my experiences here! I've been booking with Cassie and Tiffany for awhile now and I'd like to note some things I noticed with the both of them. Cassie's cuts and colours have been nothing but phenomenal. I especially LOVE the way she cuts my hair! We've been doing black hair for awhile and I leave always feeling super happy! I noticed Tiffany has some serious skills in the vibrant colour department. I wanted to add some blue in my hair and she did an excellent job. Tiffany is really good at explaining the process to achieve the results I want and she's both honest and considerate when approaching my dark hair. Both of their customer service has been amazing and getting my hair done always feels like a spa day. As much as my hair is a bit pricey, I've absolutely loved my results and will continue coming. I highly recommend booking with both Cassie and Tiffany, you can't go wrong with them!

  I paid almost $300 for a color service and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. First, the final color did not match what I had asked for and was visibly uneven in different areas. More importantly, after the service my scalp became very itchy and developed crusted/scab-like areas. Because of this, brushing or styling my hair or do anything has been uncomfortable and painful. Even first night was painful to sleep. I can feel bumps when I touched my scalp. This has continued for several days. I contacted the salon and was asked to come back to discuss the situation and a refund. I returned to the salon today, including spending almost $40 on a taxi to get there. The stylist apologized and acknowledged that this never happens with her clients before. However, the owner, Michael, examined my scalp and told me that based on his 25 years of experience, this was “normal,” that there was no chemical burn by his opinion, and that it should go away within a few days (by his opinion) and it’s because my skin is too sensitive hut their job done perfectly (never had sensitive skin in 36 years but okay.) No refund or other compensation was offered. I understand that not every reaction or color result is necessarily predictable, but what I find particularly disappointing is the way the situation was handled. I paid almost $300 for a service that left me unhappy with the color and with significant scalp irritation and hopefully it’s only irritation but nothing else (I still feel it on my scalp and can’t brush my hair or something after 5 days), and when I returned to address it, I was essentially told to wait a few days and accept it. I expected much better customer service, especially after being invited back to discuss a refund. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this salon based on my experience.

  Aman did a great job with my color. He is a very knowledgeable stylist who understand color and contrast. You can expect a very unique personalized color that enhance your features at each appointment.

  I always leave Cassie’s chair so happy with my hair! She gets my blonde exactly righ, beautifully neutral and cool, just the way I like it. And her cutting skills are next level. She has such a great eye and really knows how to shape a haircut. Honestly, I think she could teach cutting classes! Cassie is incredibly talented and I highly recommend her.

  I had such an amazing experience with Aman at Curious Salon in Aspen! I hadn’t had my hair coloured or cut in quite a while, and I have a lot of long, thick hair, so I was a little nervous going in. Aman absolutely nailed it! The colour turned out beautiful—exactly the kind of change I was hoping for—and the cut looks and feels so good. He really took his time, listened to what I wanted, and made sure everything looked perfect. You can tell he genuinely cares about his work and his clients. I walked out feeling so happy and confident with my hair. I would absolutely recommend Aman to anyone looking for someone who is talented, professional, and knows what he’s doing. Definitely a 5-star experience, and I’ll be coming back!
