She talks about meditation and crystals, but quickly shifts to asking for gifts and greed. Dinners felt less about connection, more about opportunistic exploitation. Even her presentation didn’t help: often unkempt hair and clothing more suited for a nightclub than a professional sales environment. For a luxury brand, you’d expect staff to embody polish and refinement. And that’s the point — L’Occitane itself looks refined on the outside with its French décor and Provence atmosphere, but the products are mostly synthetic fragrance in plastic bottles. If you want something truly authentic, look to Fragonard instead.
