  I came in to the Guildford location and asked about a product and was told that whatever was on the shelf was all they had and that she didn't have the time to check in the back. Since it was during the busy sale, I completely understood and didn't mind ordering the product online. At the cashier, I decided to just ask again and Emily went above and beyond to help me. She checked thoroughly, found the item, and was incredibly kind throughout. Thank you, Emily!

  I never write reviews, but I had to this time. I got helped out by this lovely girl named Reema. Even though it looked like she was very busy and juggling a lot of stuff at once she still took the time to help me find my shade for a foundation and actually listened to what I needed. She never made me feel rushed or ignored. She even took the time to ring me out herself and made the whole experience easy and comfortable. You really don't see that kind of genuine care in retail anymore, so it was honestly refreshing. They need more people like Reema. I'll definitely be coming back cause of her.

  so i went with my brother who’s gay to find foundation and omg the two girls who “helped” us were so homophobic. the first tall girl, i could tell, probably just arrived from india or something because she had an accent (i’m indian so i can tell). that kind of explains why she was acting so weirdly homophobic. she was practically having an aneurysm trying to get out of helping us. she reluctantly put an orange foundation on his cheeks and called his blush “redness.” if she can’t tell the difference between blush and redness she shouldn’t be working there. then she literally ran away. no one came to help even after we asked and we waited so long that i had to ask another girl. Who was short. she just stood to the side giving random opinions while i was swatching foundation on my sibling’s face myself. the discrimination was insane. it’s a makeup store and if you work there you should know gay people are going to shop there. plus so many of the products they sell are made by gay people and the makeup industry is full of gay male muas. there is no excuse for this behaviour in 2025. i really hope sephora does something because it’s so unfair to deal with discrimination when we’re literally just there to grab foundation like any other client.

  I had a horrible experience at the Sephora store in Guilford. The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful, and their behavior completely spoiled my birthday. The manager the girl wearing a scarf was especially harsh and unprofessional. She spoke very rudely, showed no respect, and clearly doesn’t know how to treat customers. 😡 They promote fake events and free gifts that are never in stock. The store displays birthday gifts and special offers, but when you ask, they always say everything is out of stock.The manager even tried to make me buy another product instead of Burberry just to get a gift. Burberry actually offers birthday gifts during your birthday month — but Sephora Guilford lied about it while still displaying the promotion. This was supposed to be a fun birthday shopping trip, but instead it turned into a terrible experience because of the rude behavior and fake promotions. I strongly do not recommend visiting the Sephora Guilford store.

  Today, my roommate and I visited guilford sephora there we met a beauty advisor , her name was simmi I guess. She delivered exceptional customer service as we were finding our foundation shade as well she helped my roommate as she was looking for her skincare products. However, we have visited Sephora many times before but we never got this much attention as sometimes we are told to wait and then rarely anybody shows up to give information, however today was a bit better and that actually fills up confidence in customers who actually need advice.
