  Horrible customer service. It’s so bad that I felt like I was begging for their products for free. To the management of the Guildford location: please try to hire employees who either enjoy or at least accept working in the service industry. If they’re not naturally friendly, they should at least pretend to like their job. The lady who helped me today treated me very poorly. I rarely shop in this store and usually buy MAC products online specifically to avoid this kind of experience. Today, I only walked in because I realized my eyeshadow was almost finished. When I entered the store, no employees acknowledged me, which I actually didn’t mind. However, when I was ready to purchase, I was told the products were out of stock, which is fine. What was not fine was the way the employee spoke to me. She said, “No, we don’t have this,” and told me to find the other shade, then tried to walk away. She also seemed confused about which shades were out of stock, even though I was buying two. I double-checked with her to make sure which shades were unavailable because she had pointed to the wrong one. At that point, she raised her voice at me. Seriously? I walked away and will never return to this store again.

  On Wednesday 21st evening time I was there. Two young girls were at that time working there. Not friendly. Not helping. Brushing off. Manager should talk to them. Interesting. I called and talked to manger or supervisor. She said that evening assistant manger was there that evening and she started to protect her. She said we use tech to support or help. 😮 . I am not going there. She said she is with company from Last 35 years but she not 55 years old. I mean do u guys think people are stupid? I m going to call head office.

  I had an amazing experience at MAC thanks to Elena.She helped me with my cosmetics and was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and attentive to what I needed. I never felt rushed—she really took the time to understand my preferences and let me choose exactly what I was looking for. What truly stood out was that she even stayed a bit longer after working hours to make sure I was completely satisfied. I’m extremely happy with her service and truly appreciate her dedication. Highly recommend asking for Elena!

  Terrible customer service. It’s sucked since they renovated. Knew what I wanted, came in, and was ignored. They only tend to their own people. You don’t get acknowledged when you walk in because you’re not one of them. I would rather go all the way to Metrotown or Robson to purchase my makeup than come here again. As a hair stylist and cosmetologist, I’ve been a client for nearly 30 years and this is the worst experience I’ve ever had at a MAC.
