- SASelina AdamsFeb 14, 20261.0I walked in and was told it would be a twenty to twenty five min wait. I said that’s fine I’ll wait in the car. The woman took my cell number and went to the car and had a cigarette and played a round of my game. 15 min later I walked back in and she told me I had to give them my number again because I left and wasn’t there when they were ready for me. I asked why do you take my number if you’re not using it to text me and she said they don’t text because you have to be here. I said I told you I was waiting in the car and you said that was fine. It hasn’t even been twenty mins. I was put off and decided not to wait again. Why do they even need my cell number for? They made it appear to me they would want it to contact me. They could have just taken my name. Frankly pissed me off, I won’t be back.

- NDNavveer DhillonJan 25, 20261.0I got a hair cut lastweek. I checked in on line around 6pm. Honestly i felt it was the worst haircut i had ever in my life. I never had such an experience before. I wanted face framing layers at the front. The lady didnot even section my hair and just cut the hair that were falling in the front and uneven on both sides. Even after styling the money pieces donot look even on both sides. No doubt the lady was very polite and kind, but this is not what i expected. Such a horrible experience.

When is Online Check-In available?
Online Check-In becomes available five minutes after the salon opens. We accept Online Check-Ins up to the point where the estimated wait time is as long as the salon will remain open, or 30 minutes before closing time at the latest.

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
