  Unhygienic. Was looking for a new foundation and the make up artist took the tester and insisted that it was already clean to put it on my face without cleaning the powder with a wipe of alcohol or even a tissue. I was extremely stressed out as this is very unhygienic.

  The only reason this place gets a three out of five is because of their outrageous prices. It certainly isn’t for lower income people, and even for middle class people it would be considered a treat. I bought three eyeshadows and a blush and it came to $225.00. I asked if I get savings through having a membership, And the lady at the till said that if I spent $500.00 I would get $10.00 off🤨I said, No thanks, I’m not that Bougie. I think for $500.00 you could get around 30-35 makeup products ranging from $15-$18 at a drugstore, whereas at Sephoras you can only get 6-10 products. So it’s really your call, if you want to treat yourself, I would say give it a go. But you can also find nice products with beautiful colours at the drugstore. Just may have to do a little more digging but it will probably be worth it. Also, if you are living with depression, anxiety, ADHD, etc, then this place may not be the best place to go as it is very busy at all locations and can be quite overwhelming for some, plus the lineups are usually big. If you want something quick and affordable, with less people, hit up a drugstore. I still really like Sephora’s, with all that being said, it is a very vibrant place, the woman there are nice.. I think it can be challenging to get help, because of the high volume of people… but overall it’s fun and glamorous, and great selection, I would just love to see more affordable options to consider all people’s price budgets. But maybe they are just trying to uphold a standard? 🤔

  Two thumbs down to Sophia. Maybe next time a client is searching for the perfect lipstick try not to barge in front of them and ask them to move out of your way. There was nowhere for me and my child to move to. The store was busy and I had a stroller. Next time, please just wait for your turn. I left without buying what I really wanted. One star rating.

  I have no idea why this store still exists. They never have anything that I want, I shears end up buying everting online. Even on Black Friday they don’t have any deals that show up online. You can see they have them in other Sephora stores in Canada, but not in Nanaimo. Also they don’t even bother to remove prices in USA on their products which makes it confusing for customers. And when I ended up not buying one item because of the wrong price, they just let me go, even though I am a loyal customer. They could have offered to sell it by the listed price in US, consorting it was Black Friday, and the item itself wasn’t even on sale. There were lots of sales signs, but whenever I checked, nothing was on sale.

  Nicole is the best! I was unhappy with the products I was using previously, so she color matched me and gave some recommendations. Ive just tried my new products and im so shocked with how well they work with my skin tone and type! Thank you Nicole! Im in love with the Haus Labs Triclone Skin Tech Concealer!
