- NKNaika KristiansenMar 14, 20261.0My boyfriend and I are very disappointed in the hair cut he got, the hairdresser had no idea what he was doing with my BF's curly hair. Everyone working in the salon had a language barrier that made communication extremely difficult. One would think that when you work in an industry that requires good communication in an english speaking country that the workers should at least speak semi decent english. Despite seeing multiple detailed pictures of what my boyfriend wanted and confidently saying he could do it, the result wasn't even close. It was a complete transformation, just not a good one. The hair cut it self was very rushed, leaving pieces of hair all over his face and neck. It seemed more like an assembly line in a factory than the art that hair cutting should be. This shop is obviously quantity over quality and I recommend if you want a good haircut go to another hair salon.

When I checked in, the front desk told me it would be “a few minutes.” I explained that I have a baby at home and asked for a more accurate estimate. I was told it would be about 20 minutes, so I stepped out and returned exactly after 20 minutes. When I came back, they took another person ahead of me instead. The staff member said there was nothing she could do and was quite dismissive and rude about the situation. Very disappointing experience. Poor time management and unprofessional customer service.
- TBTony BockmanJan 8, 20262.0I find that a hair cut from my type of haircut is way overpriced at the normal everyday pricing, as cutting my hair can take 5 - 10 min tops which costs me over $30.00 plus a tip. This type of haircut should not cost more than $20.00 for sure. This is very disappointing, especially considering during Covid times, I cut my own hair and it literally took me minutes. Maybe they need to look into how much time the cuts take and base their prices on the time and not a base price in the future to make them more reasonable.

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
