When I checked in, the front desk told me it would be “a few minutes.” I explained that I have a baby at home and asked for a more accurate estimate. I was told it would be about 20 minutes, so I stepped out and returned exactly after 20 minutes. When I came back, they took another person ahead of me instead. The staff member said there was nothing she could do and was quite dismissive and rude about the situation. Very disappointing experience. Poor time management and unprofessional customer service.
- TBTony BockmanJan 8, 20262.0I find that a hair cut from my type of haircut is way overpriced at the normal everyday pricing, as cutting my hair can take 5 - 10 min tops which costs me over $30.00 plus a tip. This type of haircut should not cost more than $20.00 for sure. This is very disappointing, especially considering during Covid times, I cut my own hair and it literally took me minutes. Maybe they need to look into how much time the cuts take and base their prices on the time and not a base price in the future to make them more reasonable.

- CCColton CostaMar 7, 20231.0I've loved using Great Clips for the convenience of online check-in. I decided to get my haircut tonight and booked a spot around 5:30pm. The app said about a 40 minute wait with four people ahead of myself. I arrive at Great Clips at 6:30pm and there is still a half-hour wait with two people infront of me in line. The two stylists acknowledged me when I walked in but that was it. They both had a client in chair. About 15 minutes into my wait one stylist finishes with her client then disappears into the bathroom. The other stylist and her client had just vanished. I noticed the second stylist come back to her table and hide behind the partition and seemingly stare at her phone for about 10 minutes, her client still missing. At this point the two men waiting infront of me in line had gotten frustrated and walked out. The other stylist finally finishes in the bathroom and then ushers the second stylist to follow her into the back room. It had been over half an hour at this point and I was now alone in the lobby wondering where everyone had gone. I waited for at least another 5 minutes but no one came out from the back so I walked out. I noticed on my way to my car one of the stylists finally came out to the front to use the computer. Seemed really fishy that the second everyone had walked out they finally got back to the floor. Won't be going back to that Great Clips for a long time, very disappointed.

If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
