The ladies at the Valencia location were great and I come to this location at the Tucson marketplace and the lady is younger but has zero patience. I could tell she didn’t want to cut my one year olds hair when I was waiting to be seated and she was getting frustrated while cutting his hair. I wanted a gentlemen’s cut for my baby and she butchered his hair line. The whole haircut is uneven. I should’ve went to the Valencia location again but this was closer to where I lived. I regret coming here. I understand having a bad day or morning, just take the day off. Now I have to wait for my son’s hair to grow back. Worst experience yet.

I went in yesterday to get a trim and the stylist did a great job but it wasn’t until I asked her to texturize my hair since I have a lot of hair, so she started grabbing a small handful of my hair to thin my hair and was thinning it an inch away from my scalp. I never met a stylist who did either of those things with my hair but I let her do her thing. After just a few snips, let me say she was a little aggressive with how she was thinning and I thought she might accidentally nick my ear, she ended up stabbing my scalp. I felt the pain you feel when you get cut, but she didn’t seem to care, so I finally said I felt like you stabbed me. She then finally let me know it was bleeding, touched the back of my head and had blood on my fingers. She went to get the alcohol swab and some ointment. At this point, I was really upset the service and just wanted to leave. She didn’t wear gloves cleaning the cut. She apologized, but I don’t think she knew what she was doing when it came to thinning someone’s hair as I told her any other stylist I went to was way farther away from the hair and would pick up larger chunks of hair to thin it out. Haircut was comped, so that’s great. Only other thing is that I had to ask for an incident report. I thought the employees and management would bring it up. After that, manager just offered me a free haircut when I return and I won’t be doing that. Right after I decided to go to another salon across the road and told them everything that happened and they were able to do everything right. The ladies even told me it wasn’t normal to be thinning the hair against the scalp. They showed me that she only left about an inch of hair. I don’t know if it was just this stylist or the location, but everyone working that day just seemed to brush things off.
