  I went with my boyfriend to get his hair cut and donated to Locks of Love. Upon just walking in, we were met with an incredibly rude and impatient stylist who was almost insulting him based on his hair length. He very obviously knows his length and the previous steps he took to do the same thing. The lady was incredibly abrupt in questioning his knowledge of his own hair length, and when asked to measure it to make sure, she copped an attitude and told him to wait. Extremely rude and unprofessional behavior straight out the gate, and not something that should even be happening since he’s paying for his own service. The only reason I gave a second star is because the other stylist swooped in, was extremely understanding and patient and honest, and took care of his needs (even providing additional advice for the best choice for him to make regarding his hair). If you can ask to be styled by the blonde stylist and not the dark brunette, please do that! Or just don’t come in and save yourself the hassle.

  Do not get your hair cut by Kevin Green is is extremely rude and off putting his whole demeanor is so ugly. If you want to be insulted from the point that you sit in his chair and be accused of cutting your own hair that is what you will get. He was so rude to me did not even show me the final look/ cut. He needs to go he makes great clips look so bad I have never had such a negative experience in my life.

  Review of Great Clips (Visit: Monday, around 1 PM) I came in to donate my hair and expected a simple, supportive experience. Unfortunately, the service I received was disappointing from start to finish. As soon as I mentioned donating my hair, the stylist’s attitude shifted and she acted like she didn’t want to be there. When I asked for layers, she said she could only do “long layers” — but didn’t even follow through on that. I explained that I have naturally wavy hair, and she dismissed me, saying it was only wavy “because of a braid.” When I asked her opinion on styles, she flatly told me, “Don’t ask me, I have short curly hair.” At one point, my husband spoke with her coworker, and instead of focusing on my haircut, she made a pointed comment like, “I don’t ignore people,” as if to justify her attitude. The way she brushed and pulled my hair was rough, and when she finished, both the front and back were noticeably uneven. Still, when she asked if I liked it, I just wanted to leave — so I said yes, paid, and even tipped, though the service did not deserve it. Donating hair should be treated with care, patience, and professionalism, and unfortunately, that was not the case here.
