- HPHyrum PJan 5, 20261.0I normally really like Great Clips, but this location was very disappointing. The second I walked in, the salon had a strong, strange odor along with the smell of marijuana. I tried to look past it since they’re next to a smoke shop, but the real problem was how unsanitary everything looked. Mary was the stylist who cut my hair, and while she was nice, unfortunately her station looked like it hadn’t been cleaned after the last client. There was hair all over her tools and workspace, and instead of properly sanitizing anything, she just wiped the tools off with an already dirty microfiber towel. The clippers even pulled my hair multiple times and it hurt, which definitely didn’t make me feel confident about how well the equipment was being maintained. On top of that, the haircut took barely 15 minutes and the end result was subpar. It felt rushed and careless from start to finish. I usually have great experiences with Great Clips, but based on this visit, I won’t be returning to this location.
