  Our first visit to Mii amo was truly exceptional, and it exceeded expectations in all the ways that matter most. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this is a place where intentionality and hospitality are taken seriously. The restaurant experience was a highlight—every dish felt thoughtfully crafted, beautifully presented, and memorable. The service matched the cuisine: attentive without being intrusive, polished yet warm. What stood out most across the entire resort was the quality of the staff. Every interaction felt genuine. The team made consistent eye contact, welcomed us warmly, and created an environment where you could truly relax and feel cared for. It was evident they are very well trained—but more importantly, that they genuinely want guests to enjoy themselves. A few team members deserve special recognition: • Shaggy at the Trail House made the e-bike tour both engaging and enjoyable • Larry led a fantastic photography lesson—he’s an outstanding teacher • Hannah in concierge was incredibly helpful and flexible with schedule adjustments • Michael, the maître d’ at Hummingbird, was warm, polished, and clearly leads his team well • Chawn brought a joyful spirit to the pool area that was contagious • Audrey set the tone from the start with a welcoming and informative tour of the property A couple of areas for improvement: • The mattress in our room (21) had noticeable sagging, which made sleep somewhat erratic • It would be a nice touch if guests could have trail shoes cleaned after hikes • For longer stays, offering one complimentary laundry bag per week would enhance the experience Overall, this was a memorable and restorative stay. We left feeling refreshed and already looking forward to returning.

  Great spot to disconnect from the universe for a few days if not longer… Spa services are within the top of the country. Being nestled within Boynton Canyon is without a doubt quite the honor… from the flora and fauna to the beautiful red rock formation surrounding the resort… The resort itself is nestled within the national forest of one of the four energy vortex of the area. Very few notes for this luxury stay…

  My rating for the rooms pertains to Enchantment the sister property, but the rest of the review is for Mii Amo. The Mii Amo front desk was the most disorganized thing I have ever seen. It took over one week to hear back from the team after I asked the concierge to help me book a group service and I had to call upwards of 6 times to get an answer or check in. The Mii Amo team booked multiple services under the wrong names, were incredibly unapologetic and wasted hours of our time trying to coordinate very simple tasks. After arriving at the resort I had an early morning check in for a service. I got there on time and the front desk person was on the phone, but didn't even acknowledge my presence or even smile or ask me to wait. He stayed on the phone and continued to ignore me. Not a great first impression. By the time he got off the phone it was passed the time of my appointment and showed no hurry to get me check in. I asked about scheduling a facial after hearing about the positive experience my friend had later that day and they told me they were fully booked but they could put me on the wait list. I went back to the desk to check in about the status a few hours later and they told me I was not on the waitlist at all. Then they told me I would be first on the waitlist for an 8:50pm service the next day. I got a confirmation text that it was booked and then when I went back the next day they told me they had nothing. I asked for the supervisor after that because at this point every person I spoke to had told me a different story. She said she would work on it and text me personally to confirm the appointment. I got nothing. My friend also wanted a facial and the same thing happened - told she was on the waitlist only to find out the next day there was nothing. Then we were told we both had appointments and when I went to check in the appointment was again not there, I found out later they booked it under the wrong name. They called me on my last day and told me I didn't show up for a service after I confirmed I was canceling it, but they didn't cancel everyone and were trying to tell me I would be charged for an appointment that should have been canceled. The Mii Amo staff for the spa was such a disappointment and I could not believe how unorganized and uncoordinated they were. It was absolute chaos and I would not recommend staying here based on that alone. If this was just any hotel I wouldn't be so upset but me and my party spent upwards of $18K for this stay with a 5 star spa experience and while the service providers/ estheticians were great the front desk made the whole experience stressful chaotic and absolutely not worthy of the price tag. This is what they are known for and they clearly lacked the communication and coordination to run a spa of this caliber. Extremely disappointed with the service here.
