  Tip your nurses y'all! Zaira absolutely nailed it with my lobe piercing! As a clinical laboratory technologist, I can tell you her sterile technique was impeccable. Moreover, Zaira's piercing technique was well executed and as comfortable as one could make it when piercing a hole through someones body. She also took the time before and after the piercing to explain everything about Rowan's piercing process/jewelry, line my two piercings up as symmetrically as possible, and explain aftercare/healing. Thank you Zaira!

  Interesting concept. They are making money hand over fist in this place. Great 'in between' option for those wanting a more personalized piercing experience but don't want to go to a sketchy mall joint or tattoo/piercing parlor. Slim selection of starter earrings and there was a baby screaming bloody murder while my very nervous friend was trying ro get her ears pierced for the first time. If they take a minute to elevate the service experience and do a better job explaining everything up front, maybe even separate the piercing chairs, I might spend some dangerous amounts of dollars there. Overall pretty good but they could so MUCH better for the $140 we spent on stainless steel studs for a first tkme ear lobe piercing.

  My five yr old and I got our ears pierced at Rowan in December 2025. Three months on, both of ours are still dealing with infections—hers flips between ‘healed’ and ‘angry’ almost weekly. I followed every aftercare step they gave us religiously, I really wanting this to be a fun, positive thing for her. The staff were lovely, the piercing itself went smoothly… but honestly I suspect the jewelry quality is the issue. If you or your kid have super-sensitive ears, I’d skip Rowan. It’s just not worth the hassle.
