A Decline in Quality and Professionalism
I’ve been a tenant at these salon suites for seven years, and during that time, I’ve witnessed a significant decline in management quality and overall professionalism. When I first started, the owners cared about the tenants, treating us with respect as both individuals and business owners. There was an on-site manager who was always available to address any needs or concerns.
Unfortunately, those days are long gone.
Now, management seems to change constantly, making it nearly impossible to speak with someone who can actually address issues. Reaching out results in being ignored or passed around, with no real solutions provided. I’ve personally experienced lost wages on multiple occasions, and the lack of responsiveness is frustrating. Instead of a phone call to resolve matters, everything is funneled through email—likely to have “documentation”—but it creates a sense of avoidance rather than genuine communication.
The professionalism has taken a nosedive. Tenants are treated like numbers rather than individuals. Simple building maintenance, such as keeping toilet paper, paper towels, and soap stocked, is an ongoing issue. Additionally, many empty rooms that could be used for potential tenants are instead cluttered with storage and not ready to show.
The most frustrating part is the dishonesty and lack of respect. I despise being lied to and feeling bullied, and sadly, that’s become the norm with this company. The only thing that keeps me at this location is the community of people in the building. Some of us have been here for over 20 years, and despite our loyalty, it’s clear the company views us as replaceable.
In summary, the sense of family and camaraderie among tenants is the only saving grace, but as for the management and the way things are run now, it’s been a massive disappointment.
