I took a chance and so glad I did. Steven did amazing. I went home and washed my hair and all my beautiful curls are back. Thank you Steven
- SSShannonphxMar 31, 20261.0Do not let Claudia anywhere near your hair with a pair of scissors! She completely butchered mine. I asked for a trim and said to leave the layers long, as I was growing them out. Claudia's broken English concerned me, but she nodded and acted like she understood. I trusted that—BIG mistake! I left with wet hair and was horrified when it dried—random chunks were hacked off all over. The layers were wildly uneven and drastically shorter than I wanted. I called the salon to speak with a manager. The Regional/Area Manager was very empathetic and sent me to another location where a salon manager tried to fix my jagged disaster of a haircut. Unfortunately, Claudia chopped the hair framing my face so short and unevenly, it just won’t blend in without sacrificing more length. I had to buy clip-in extensions to make it look somewhat normal. The fact that Claudia holds a cosmetology license is baffling. I’m posting this review at 2 locations because Claudia was filling in for another stylist when I encountered her incompetence, but she normally works at the 83rd Ave and Thunderbird location.

- KKKathyMar 3, 20261.0Took my nephew Carson to get a haircut last weekend. The lady (or man hard to tell) that cut my nephews hair did a horrible job and was so dang rude. My nephew was very well behaved especially with having autism. The stylist made several snarky comments about him moving too much and honestly he didnt even move much!! She was very unfriendly and not competent. We ended up taking him to a barber (83rd Ave and Cacus) to get it fixed and paid another 30$. Needless to say we wont be going back to Great Clips since the barbershop did such an amazing job and were so pleasant. This lady at Great Clips should not be allowed to do kids hair. She doesn't have patience and clearly doesn't care for dealing with kids. Do better people.

When is Online Check-In available?
Online Check-In becomes available five minutes after the salon opens. We accept Online Check-Ins up to the point where the estimated wait time is as long as the salon will remain open, or 30 minutes before closing time at the latest.
Can I use Online Check-In for all types of services?
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
Can I request a stylist using Online Check-In?
No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
Do Great Clips salons sell haircare products?
