  Joanna is a rock star! My hair was done in less than a half hour and is my favorite cut EVER. I've been going to a curly hair specialist for a couple of years, but due to a change in circumstances, I needed to try a new salon. I talked to a girl with curly hair the length I wanted and asked where she gets her hair done because it's so cute! And she recommended this specific Great Clips location. For reference, I have thick, wavy hair that was almost to my waist. I will often go to extremes with my hair, going from very long to short pixie, then hating the pixie, going back to very long, and ignoring the happy medium. I finally learned that my hair is happiest and healthiest at about shoulder length. I was nervous about the chop because I've been so disappointed in the past (but have also had some good short styles which is why I keep trying again). Joanna was so reassuring! I showed her pictures of what I wanted, and she asked some questions to make sure we were on the same page. She was understanding of me wanting shorter hair and didn't make me feel bad for wanting to chop it (I know a lot of people would love to have my thick waves! I wish I could give it to them! It's so difficult for me to style.) I also appreciate that Joanna didn't seem to mind I'm a pretty reserved person (verbally. As you can see when it comes to written communication, it all spills out). She talked to me but I didn't feel bad struggling to continue the conversation (though I hope to do better next time!) I think my smile said it all as the cut progressed and became exactly what I was hoping for. Joanna has a swift, get-it-done technique which I was nervous about when she started because it went against everything I'd learned about treating curly hair. I guess because my hair is technically wavy and I was going short it could handle it, because this is honestly one of the best cuts I've ever had. I will definitely be returning and hope I get Joanna again! I'll be highly recommending this salon.

  I went to this Great Clips at Crismon and Baseline to surprise my sister Joanna to get a hair cut as a walk- in. I was warmly greeted by manager Robin. While I was waiting, it was evident to me that this Great Clips has talented stylists by how busy they were. My sister is an AMAZING, TALENTED stylist! It was WONDERFUL to see her shine in her new environment. I absolutely LOVE my cut! I especially liked the cute sail partisans at their individual hair stations. This way you are able to have private conversation. This shop is very clean and organized. They have a variety of products to purchase to keep your hair healthy and beautiful. Thank you Marisa, Mandy and Robin for your kindness for a WONDERFUL experience at your Great Clips! Come to this particular Great Clips for a SUPER, EFFICIENT, AWESOME hair cut and style while engaging in warm conversation. Laurie
