- ASAnissa SuttonMar 23, 20261.0My daughter and I we're in over the weekend. It was very busy my daughter is special needs so when we are out in public I let her take the lead. It was an hour wait. she said she wanted to wait so we did please remember my daughter has very very very very thin hair when finally she was called back The Stylist went to start cutting hair and my daughter asked if she would wash it? I was sitting in the waiting room and the stylist said just for this? So she took her over and washed her hair and brought her back. Didn't even say a word to her the whole time and when she was done, K walked up to me and I said didn't you get a blow dry? She said that she did want to blow dry but they really didn't have a lot of time. It would have only taken 2 minutes to dry with how thin it is. The Stylist also said it would be over $20.00 For K I would pay whatever it took! But she said no mom she said she is busy, I can do it at home!!! I'm glad my daughter doesn't realize when people are being mean or rude to her because she loves everyone. But I know the difference my heart was breaking for my daughter cuz she loves coming to the salon so I paid the $30 which by the way was outrageous For What Little was done and how long it took.We left with tears in my eyes and a smile on her face we got home. Later that night the best thing that came out of the whole thing was K said I feel like a supermodel. People just need to know who they have in their chair and maybe she was having a bad day. Regardless we won't be back

Definitely sign in online of you are coming on a weekend, they do get back to back busy and may stop taking walking if its close to closing time. Tip generously, these folks work hard all day.

Online Check-In becomes available five minutes after the salon opens. We accept Online Check-Ins up to the point where the estimated wait time is as long as the salon will remain open, or 30 minutes before closing time at the latest.

Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
