And on this last visit I witnessed the greatest kindness and care given by both stylists toward to older customers, both in the midst of cancer treatments. They were so gentle and kind with them. It really showed what great women these two are. I have been coming to them for years and plan to go forever.
- RKRomy KonthuruthyJan 14, 20261.0I was in the middle of my haircut when I calmly asked a question: “Why are you taking off so much hair from the top?” He was using clippers, even though I normally have scissors used on the top and I believe this preference is noted in my profile. I could clearly see that a significant amount of hair had already been taken off. His response, delivered in an arrogant tone, was: “I’m tapering it and I’m not done yet.” When I asked why scissors weren’t being used, he immediately stopped the service and told me to leave. I was essentially kicked out for questioning the work I was paying for, with my haircut unfinished. If another staff member hadn’t stepped in and offered to finish the haircut, I would have walked out with half my hair done. I should have walked out of there when i heard they both smack talking about the previous customer. This was humiliating and easily the most embarrassing salon experience I’ve ever had. I was certain i would find negative comments about him on here, and i did find it on along with his name Jai. He is filled with tattoos all over including his neck which in itself is intimidating and has a horrible attitude. This behavior was hostile, arrogant, and completely unacceptable. Customers have every right to ask questions about their own service. Management needs to take this seriously and investigate this incident—staff who react this way should not be in a customer-facing role that too when they have easy access to sharp objects. The fact that management hasn't done anything about previous reviews on him is like ammunition for them to behave how they want. Guess what, I will never return to this location and ive been a customer of great clips for 10+ years. I strongly caution others to avoid this barber and the location, no one should have to go through this.
