We (myself +1) checked in online and no one was in the shop when we arrived. Heidi, a stylist, greeted us. She was having trouble navigating the computer system at the shop and was getting frustrated, banging on the Ipad to check us in and retrieve our notes from previous haircuts. Unable to get the notes, she told my grandson to come on back without knowledge of how to cut his hair. He is 13 so he is paying more attention to how he looks but sometimes has issues communicating how he wants his haircut. I walked over to the cutting area with them to offer instructions since we did not have the notes. At this point other customers had come in and another stylist began taking another customer back ahead of me. Because I walked over and Heidi accused me, out loud in front of other customers, of being upset and became aggressive towards me. I said nothing. When Heidi said what she said to me, the other stylist offered help and instantly provided the notes for my grandson's haircut. Clearly Heidi has not been trained on the shop's system. Maybe this is an isolated incident and I can tell you, it has never happened before. We usually have a great uneventful pleasant experience at this shop. A haircut should be a pleasant non-stressful outing especially with my grandson. I will come back but no more Heidi, anyone but her.

Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
If I checked in online, do I need to do anything when I arrive at the salon?
Once you arrive, check in at the receptionist desk to let the stylists know you're there. They will finish checking you in at that time.
