  Terrible. I scheduled a cut wash and blow dry with Jim. I had long hair so this was a big decision to go short. I went inland jim was just getting back from getting food. He put his food up and showed me to the chair. He began cutting and spraying my hair with water. My hair began to flip on one side and he couldn't tell if it was straight. He said did you want a wash or no? So I was like no its not Necessary I guess. So he was like go home and straighten your hair and if I missed any thing come back. Ok first thing is it's a SALON dont they have the tools to do that but whatever. Also was supposed to get some layers cut in I guess he didn't want to do them if he didn't know it was even. I went home,used my gas and my time to straighten my hair. He missed so much. I came right back. He looked annoyed I showed back up. He cut the missed hair. The whole time he acted like he didn't want to touch my hair. Made no conversation and only got a sorry bout that once. Also had a $10 coupon for signing up. The lady at the desk said oh I will get it. I still paid full price. $48 for 10 mins and two trips to the salon. Do not use Jim. The other lady's seemed ok but they didn't cut my hair so idk. Figured I would call customer service and handle this. I did and NO response from them at all. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!

  I was more than happy with the work Matthew did on my hair. I've visited many salons in the area, but I'll admit JCpenny stylists actually did what I was expecting. Im actually in the mirror tossing my hair around and no longer dreaming about the look I once only found in the AI pictures. I think I've found the my new spot. Thank you Jcpenny.

  Angel did a fantastic job with my hair. I hadn't gotten it cut in roughly 2 and a half years. She got all the layers I wanted and made sure tell me about what she was doing before she did it. I absolutely love my new look and will definitely be back again.

  It was my first time here and Jim was excellent! I felt so pampered and everyone was so kind. I have dark black hair and he was able to give me a gorgeous balayage!

  I had a very disappointing experience at the JCPenney Salon in Fort Smith, Arkansas. I asked for blonde on top with brown underneath. While my hair was not virgin, I have only ever used professional salon color—never box dye. My roots were simply grown out longer than usual. The result was extremely uneven. My hair turned yellow in some spots, orange in others, and even white in areas. I’ve never had this level of patchiness or discoloration from a professional color service before. I had to go to another salon called Hogan hair salon located in sallisaw Oklahoma where they did a fantastic job. In order to have it fixed, I was told a high-lift color had been used. The only solution was to color all of my hair brown, which completely eliminated the blonde I originally asked and paid for. When I left JC penny salon and complained about the dissatisfaction, I was not offered a refund for my hair. I was told it would “ take time to get back to the blond i want”. Here are pictures of what my hair looked like before my JCPenney appointment, after it, and the last 3 pictures are from the wonderful salon that helped me feel confident enough to go out in public again. This experience was frustrating and upsetting. I would not recommend this salon for hair color services.
