    So slow. Lobby full of people waiting and employees are just talking and laughing and moving like turtles. No wonder there's a 55 minute wait. If you're in a hurry go somewhere else.

    Y’all, I didn’t catch her name, but don’t let the short blonde with tattoos touch your hair 😂 went in for a men’s cut, but when she was done I didn’t say a word, I just paid, went home, and buzzed the rest of my hair off. My wife agreed with the decision if that tells you anything lol.

    I have had good haircuts and bad haircuts, but the service I received yesterday was the worst. Two stylists were working and I was the only customer in queue at midday, so the wait was short. "T" asked me to wait while she cleaned up her station. I waited. She took me back and she had not even swept up the hair from the gentleman before me, and the neck liner for the smock was still right there on the floor where she had thrown it when removing it. I literally had to kick it away from where I had to get in the chair. She read the notes from their database and asked me what number of length I needed. I had no idea. There is no chart anywhere explaining their clipper lengths. This recurs over and over, as if Great Clips is speaking some universal code that everyone understands, like reading speed limits. She then asked about the incomplete and garbled message about not placing the point of electric trimmers against my neck. Every time I go there, I have to explain, because whoever put it in their database swagged it and no one knows what it means. So, after a poor start, I explained and she began cutting. As she did, we made effort to chat, as she had just loudly told the customer before me that she hates it when the client doesn't and just "stares at me." I asked if she had plans for Labor Day. She planned to work. She asked about my plans, and I told her of a trip to visit my siblings in another state. She then began asking if I was married. No. Was I ever married? No. Did I ever want to get married? No. And she just kept getting more personal until I had to tell her I did not want to discuss my romance life. I've never had anyone ask personal questions like that. And she was working very slowly, but it was hot out and I had groceries in the car, so I told her as much. In cutting my hair, she ignored the style I came in with and began removing my part and fluffing my hair btack to make it into something different. I had to comment that I had a part on the side, at which point she made a half-heart attempt at mussing it into two directions, but she had already cut it too much to have it lie well. Particularly on top and the longer side, she cut it so badly, a lock lay on my head with straight ends, causing a gap in the hair. It was so bad, she couldn't fix it and I finally asked to just let me go. The manager sat in the next chair over the entire time, texting away on her phone, and never said a word. Every time I go to this chain, I get a different stylist, whether from rotation of the staff, or turnover, I have no idea, but it's a problem. The corporate mentality of local managers has led to this kind of disinterest in the performance of their stylists. The fact that the manager said nothing as her employee continued asking unwelcome personal questions was notable. Where does the managing part come in?

    I was so thankful to the lady who fixed my daughter's hair. She got a back to school cut while with her dad and the lady had no experience. Thankfully they were able to make her haircut look better.
